Datakonsulten AB Services We develop and engineer software systems based on Java and other Object-Oriented and Distributed Objects technologies, Relational Databases and advanced User Interface techniques. Depending on our customers needs we take full responsibility for the whole development process or parts there of. We work in close collaboration with our customers especially during the requirement analysis, system design, and system test and deployment phases of the development cycle. Software Components and Tools The tools and components that we develop or help to develop range from complex API and services such as windowing toolkits, databases managers and request brokers to language compilers and interpreters, and to stand-alone visual and non-visual software components including JavaBeans and Enterprise JavaBeans. Developed software tools can be delivered as market ready products, as prototypes suitable for further development and/or commercial packaging, or as in-house use software. Software Systems and Applications Application and system software that we develop or help to develop range from large, multi-user, multi-vendor database, and business process and information systems to technical, statistical and numerical software including modelling and real-time simulation. Business and technical applications can be delivered and installed as ready-to-use turnkey systems, as a proof of concept software, or as frameworks to be used in-house for further development. The system solutions are based on Java 2 Enterprise specifications such as EJB, JDBC, JTA, JTS, JMS, JNDI, RMI, CORBA, IIOP, HTTP and other related technologies. We integrate existing and legacy systems with new development in order to create modern, secure and reliable mission-critical solutions. Embedded System Software Software for embedded systems and devices that we develop is based on customised versions of known operating systems such as Linux and on specially developed application software.
